Thank you to everyone contributing to the AARE 2026 Conference. We look forward to welcoming you to QUT Kelvin Grove, Brisbane, from 29 November to 3 December 2026.
This page contains the key information and guidelines you will need to prepare for your presentation and participate confidently in the conference program.

Presenter Guidelines
The Presenter Guidelines provide information for individual papers, roundtables, symposiums and workshops, including presentation timing, audiovisual requirements, registration, preparing slides and what to expect at the conference.

Poster Guidelines
The Poster Guidelines provide information about poster dimensions, printing, display requirements, presentation times and collection arrangements. Poster sessions will be held from 12:30pm to 1:30pm on Monday, 30 November and Tuesday, 1 December 2026.

Chair Guidelines
The Chair Guidelines outline the responsibilities of session Chairs, including welcoming delegates, introducing presenters, managing presentation times, facilitating questions and responding to program changes.

Presentation Formats
Presentation formats and allocated times vary depending on the submission type:
- Individual Paper: 20 minutes, including 15 minutes for the presentation and five minutes for questions or discussion.
- Roundtable Paper: 10–15 minutes to introduce the research, followed by facilitated group discussion.
- Symposium: 90 minutes for up to four or five papers, including the Chair’s introduction and the discussant’s response.
- Workshop: 30, 60 or 90 minutes.
- Poster: Scheduled 60-minute poster presentation sessions.
